Fees shown represent base courthouse access or record-retrieval charges collected by each jurisdiction's clerk of court. State-level ranges reflect variation between counties within that state. Data is compiled from publicly posted court fee schedules, state administrative office publications, and direct jurisdiction contact, and is reviewed on a rolling basis.
